SET UP OF EPSON PRINTER: OFFLINE TO ONLINE MODE

 

 

Few measures to solve the offline issue with Epson printer :

 




1.Checking the Epson printer’s connection.

When the Epson printer shows itself as offline, it indicates that there is an issue with communicating with the computer. Usually, one of the main reason behind this issue is the physical connection, as the cable connection problem if it’s a wired connection, where mostly the main reason for OFFLINE ERROR in the printer is a loose connection.

So, in such cases, you need to make sure that the USB cable at both ends is inducted strongly. You might also exchange it with a new USB cable and test if the issue gets settled. Doing this will rule out the problem arising from the cable. If you are sure that the Connection problem isn’t the reason behind the issue, you can move on to perform troubleshooting steps given below.

 

2.Manual Setting up the Epson printer to online mode.

 

In WINDOWS 7

•From the bottom left of your screen, click on the Start icon -> CONTROL PANEL, then select DEVICES AND PRINTERS.

In WINDOWS 10 AND WINDOWS 8.1

•On START menu, go to settings. Choose devices. Then click on PRINTERS AND SCANNERS.

•From the list, after right-clicking- EPSON PRINTER,  Choose for - seeing what is printing. From the bar located at the top, choose PRINTER.

•From the menu( drop- down) , choose for using PRINTER ONLINE.

 

3.Cancelling all pending printing jobs.

 

•Choose for SEE WHAT’S PRINTING after right-clicking on the Epson printer from the given list.

•Now make a right-click and choose CANCEL for removing any print jobs present.

•Choose USE PRINTER ONLINE.

•If the issue persists, restart your computer and printer again.

 

4.Reinstalling Epson printer.

 





•Click start-> settings-> devices -> printers and scanners.

•From the list, choose Epson printer. Choose Remove Device again.

•Access the Epson website for downloading the latest printer drivers for your printer model.

•Get the Reinstallation of the printer.
